Blank Walls Before
Welcome to the canvas.
It is time for an upgrade!
{Notice the clock in the above header image for reference}.
A Necessary Arch
Initial ideas were, admittly, already scope creep after only a few minutes into the first meeting; but it had to be done. This wall closed off the dining room from the fabulous view of the water and that just can’t be allowed!
Finishing Touchs of Stone and Beams
And viola! Arches as if they have always been. Not to mention a fireplace facelift.
Kitchen Before
The strong central stone was, well, just not quite working. The proportions of the space were odd and really it had no personality. Nothing like it’s owners! They wanted some flair!
Kitchen Sink Wall Before
A common challenge- tall ceilings and short cabinets.. but no one can reach that empty space anyhow. Working with volumes and ways to tie the great room togheter led to layers an quite a few details.
Secondary Cook Zone Before
A mis-mash of heights and storage and a designer’s least favorite thing – appliances out on the counter! Oh my!
New Baking Area Open
A new baking area with storage and colorful tiles to spark many a cupcake with sprinkles topped by plate rail and pottery shelf for room wrap detail.
